Musashi Auto Parts in Arthur, Ontario is hiring for a Purchasing Associate - MRO Buyer. The MRO Buyer is responsible for processing purchasing transactions for MRO and custom border transactions. They work to achieve departmental and company goals (SQCD). **Qualifications**: - PMAC courses an asset - 2+ years related purchasing/procurement and Inventory experience, preferably in manufacturing - Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system **Responsibilities**: - Customs Self Assessment (CSA) border clearance transactions - Source, quote and issue purchase orders for maintenance inventory items - Monitor maintenance inventory - min/max, total inventory on hand, slow moving and new items - Master data - material master, purchasing information records, source list, machine bill of materials - Vendor development - aggressively pursue cost down projects, preferred vendor status, supplier diversity - Purchase orders - maintain open purchase orders, confirmations, follow up on delivery, expedite - Review invoicing and prepare purchase orders for invoicing - Prepare month end reports and analysis - Report to customers on diversity spends - Contractor validation - WSIB and liability insurance records, IATF and ISO certification records - Perform duties in accordance with PMAC code of ethics - Perform related duties as required **Personal Skills**: - Strong financial and mathematical skills. - Self-motivated and efficient in task completion and problem solving. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Excellent interpersonal communication skills. - Motivates and works well with others.
