Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator

Ergo Advantage Inc. is situated in Fergus Ontario and is North America’s leading manufacturer of modular ergonomic PVC matting, providing solutions for anti-fatigue, antimicrobial, anti-slip, ESD and 5S initiatives.

The starting wage for this position is $22.00 per hour. Ergo Advantage Inc. provides a competitive benefit package upon completion of a 3 month probationary period and a yearly discretionary bonus program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the secure and accurate loading of all shipments with proper paperwork.
- Oversee the secure and accurate unloading and inspection of all deliveries and report on the packing slip and to management if deliveries are damaged or short shipped.
- Perform quality audits of the condition of received goods from material suppliers and report discrepancies to management.
- Sort and distribute incoming shipments and maintain the workplace in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
- Prepare and schedule outgoing shipments by purchase order onto pallets and ensure that shipments are wrapped sufficiently and contain proper documentation.
- Organize inventory of shipping materials and productions supplies.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service Specialist in regard to shipment times, requirements, etc.
- Operate lift truck and platform ladder in a safe manner and complete daily maintenance logs.
- Operate various warehouse, production and support machines and report any maintenance needs to the Operations Coordinator.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping functions on a regular basis.
- Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
- Ensure tasks are completed fully and accurately as requested.
- Assist with production when necessary: boxing and movement of materials as well as paperwork and inventory checks.
- Able to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 55lb.).
- Participate in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the plant and report any issue immediately. Ensure all products meet quality requirements.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist with start-up and shut down duties pertaining to equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Report any problems to appropriate personnel.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as we strive for long term goals.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with solid organizational skills.
- Forklift license.
- Computer skills.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm.
