**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining the flow of service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including all cooking equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality meal preparation.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials based on available ingredients.

**Experience**
- Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant environment.
- Culinary experience or formal training is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
