We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team at Paloma Tacos & Tequila. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring high-quality and consistent food presentation.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring spices, following recipes and portion guidelines.

2. Cook and plate dishes according to recipe specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards and presentation guidelines.

3. Operate various kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, ovens, and sauté stations, in a safe and efficient manner.

4. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of all menu items.

5. Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.

6. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients, and maintaining appropriate temperature controls.

7. Assist in the development of new menu items, including contributing ideas and participating in tastings and evaluations.

8. Monitor ingredient inventory levels, inform the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager of shortages, and assist in restocking as needed.

9. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of potentially hazardous materials and equipment.

10. Support and assist other kitchen staff in various tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:
1. Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.

2. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation.

3. Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality dishes.

4. Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet fast-paced service demands.

5. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP guidelines.

6. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff.

7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

8. Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 44 per week
