Please note this competition is for two positions: one temporary for 12 months in duration; one seasonal for 42 weeks in duration.

**About the job**: In this role, you will:

- Inspect highway corridor and ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and policies
- Coordinate utility relocations
- Work with internal and external stakeholders such ministry staff, municipalities, consultants, and the public
- Identify and resolve problems related to corridor management-

- **Engineering and Technical Skills**:

- you have the ability to read and interpret highway and construction plans, reports and site plans
- you have an understanding of highway construction and land use planning process.

** Communication Skills**:

- you have proven interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with other office personal and a wide range of external stakeholders such as, the public, utility companies, developers, municipalities and elected officials
- you have written communication skills to prepare documents such as permits, correspondence and briefing notes
- you have the ability to provide advice and technical and legal information to clients who are unfamiliar with terminology- ** Analytical, Organizational and Computer Skills**:
