**Executive Assistant to the COO**:

As Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), your role is not just to support - it’s to **drive execution**. You'll work side-by-side with a high-performing COO to translate vision into process, strategy into deliverables, and ideas into action across the company.
This isn’t a paper-pushing role - it’s for someone who thrives on building structure, driving clarity, and leading from behind the scenes in a fast-moving environment.
**Your Core Mission**:
**Be the COO’s right hand in driving clarity, alignment, and execution across the business.**
You’ll manage priorities, build structure, and turn strategy into execution. From presentations and SOPs to internal policies and reports, you’ll bring ideas to life - then help communicate and implement them across the team.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Technical & Strategic Execution**
- Build professional slide decks, reports, SOPs, and leadership documents from high-level input.
- Translate the COO’s voice and direction into organized, polished outputs for internal and external use.
- Support strategic projects across safety, quality, rentals, shop, and business development.
**Operational Partnering**
- Attend meetings and workshops with the COO; take notes, own follow-ups, and ensure loops get closed.
- Assist in preparing for internal reviews, client meetings, industry conferences, and investor presentations.
**Administrative Backbone**
- Manage the COO’s calendar, travel, and daily priorities - always protecting time for what matters.
- Screen and prioritize communication; handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Maintain clean, current, and accessible systems, files, and shared documents.
**Execution Support (as needed)**
- Step in to assist with daily operations during holidays or peak periods (e.g., Aimsio tickets, field support, or job kickoff prep).
- Help coordinate logistics and documentation for small projects or onboarding tasks.
- Understand Canoco’s project systems and workflows well enough to support when needed.

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years experience supporting senior leadership in an Executive Assistant or Project Coordinator role (or similar)
- Clear, professional writing and editing skills.
- Experience creating or formatting SOPs, presentations, reports, and leadership documents.
- Able to work from our Fort Saskatchewan office, with occasional travel to events or client sites.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle access.
