**Job Description**:
We are looking for a passionate, inquisitive, detail oriented and customer focused Project Coordinator to join our growing team. A key goal in Global IT is successful collaboration with IKO key business leads and stakeholders to deliver on prioritized corporate initiatives. We strive to improve our processes regularly; utilizing new technologies, leading practices and experiences from our personnel.

The IT Project Coordinator role will focus on a ERP Deployment projects working directly with the Director, Global ERP and Project Management Office to support day-to-day operations, development projects and the ongoing global rollout. The underlying ERP platforms are JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP among others. This role is based in Mississauga, ON, and is a 12 month contract opportunity.

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE;
- Update and maintain the key project repositories and logs (risks, assumptions, issues and decisions) so the PMO has accurate status and the actions are followed up and resolved in a timely manner
- Assist project managers with project workflow/lifecycle to ensure deliverables are met on time and budget
- Attend project meetings and create and publish meeting minutes
- Assist project managers in creating and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint sites for project collaboration
- Facilitate meetings as needed by providing an agenda in advance of the meeting, actions are completed and meeting minutes are distributed. For example, Change Control Board meetings, Risk/Issue review meetings, etc.
- Facilitate the tracking of project work by the project team and any system integrators by monitor the Project Defects log, reviewing timelogs and updating summary tracker on a weekly basis, providing a regular status report on these items (minimum weekly) to highlight any discrepancies
- Enable efficient project travel, logistics and overall administration. Coordinate all project travel including flights, hotels, rental cars and other travel needs
- Travel within North America and to European locations will be required

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar administrative support role, preferably in an IT or professional services environment
- Work experience in a software development or deployment related role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Project, Visio and advanced skills in Excel
- Familiarity with software project lifecycle methodologies
- Ability to travel when requested
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to different levels of the organization (written and verbal - i.e. PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities; changing course and direction as needed
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software-preferably Oracle JD Edwards is an asset
- SharePoint experience is an asset.
- PMP or CAPM certification is an asset
