- Reporting to the Lions Pool Supervisor, the Pool Assistant Supervisor provides superior customer service, projecting a positive image for the City of Stratford, being both courteous and respectful to customers and members of the community.
- Take responsible action in caring for the welfare of all participants.
- Promote the aims, objectives and motto’s of the City of Stratford, Canadian Red Cross Society and Lifesaving Society of Canada.
- Ensure pool rules are enforced.
- Actively involved in the design, construction, and organization of the Lions Pool Program.
- Supervise and assist in evaluating all staff on an on-going basis.
- Assist in daily report writing, organization, phone calls, finances, and other administrative duties.
- Assist in the coordination all staff meetings.
- Assist in facility operations.
- Maintain daily records.
- Assists in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Current First Aid/CPR certificate.
- Current Lifesaving Society Swim Instructors (Preschool 1-5 and Swimmer 1-11)
- Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Service.
