**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food storage and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.

**Experience**
- With some experience in Mexican food as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food handling practices, and food safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field is highly valued.

Pay: From $17.52 per hour
