**Job summary**:
The Inventory Specialist role ensures accurate physical inventory management while also supporting the cleanup and ongoing accuracy of our inventory database (Microsoft Access). The position requires coordination across shipping/receiving, purchasing, production, and database administration to ensure that inventory information is reliable and that production lines are always supported.

Reporting to Production Manager or Director of Operations, you will be working in an entrepreneurial family run manufacturer business of tracked utility vehicles for the power utility, forestry, mining, and defense sectors and you will play a key role in contributing to the success of our company

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Place incoming parts into designated warehouse and production locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical counts; reconcile discrepancies with the Access database.
- Assist with cleaning and validating inventory data in the Access database, ensuring part numbers, descriptions, and bin locations are accurate.
- Provide timely inventory reports and stock-level updates to purchasing and production.
- Refill production lines from primary storage locations, ensuring continuous supply.
- Support the project of labeling production lines and storage areas to improve traceability and efficiency.
- Work closely with shipping/receiving to ensure smooth flow of goods into and out of inventory.
- Collaborate with purchasing and database administration to identify and resolve issues in real time.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations, labeling standards, and system processes.
- Uphold health & safety procedures within the warehouse and production areas.

**Required Skills**:

- 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or production support (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with both physical stock and system data.
- Ability to work independently, while effectively coordinating across multiple departments.
- Proficiency with ERP or database systems (Access experience is an asset; QuickBooks Desktop familiarity also beneficial).
- Solid communication skills in English mandatory.
- Forklift certification as an asset.
- Physical ability to handle inventory (lifting up to ~50 lbs).

Le spécialiste de l’inventaire est responsable de la gestion rigoureuse des inventaires physiques, tout en veillant à la propreté et à la mise à jour continue de la base de données d’inventaire (Microsoft Access). Ce poste implique une coordination étroite avec les services d’expédition/réception, des achats, de la production et de l’administration des bases de données afin d’assurer la fiabilité des informations et le bon fonctionnement des chaînes de production.

Sous la responsabilité du directeur de production ou du directeur des opérations, vous évoluerez au sein d’une entreprise familiale à l’esprit entrepreneurial, spécialisée dans la fabrication de véhicules utilitaires à chenilles destinés aux secteurs de l’énergie, de la sylviculture, de l’exploitation minière et de la défense. Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la réussite de notre entreprise.

**Responsabilités principales**:

- Placer les pièces entrantes dans les emplacements désignés de l'entrepôt et de la production, en veillant à ce qu'elles soient correctement étiquetées et organisées.
- Effectuer régulièrement des inventaires cycliques et des inventaires physiques complets ; rapprocher les écarts avec la base de données Access.
- Participer au nettoyage et à la validation des données d'inventaire dans la base de données Access, en s'assurant que les numéros de pièces, les descriptions et les emplacements des bacs sont exacts.
- Fournir des rapports d'inventaire et des mises à jour du niveau de stock en temps opportun aux services des achats et de la production.
- Réapprovisionner les lignes de production à partir des emplacements de stockage principaux, en veillant à l'approvisionnement continu.
- Soutenir le projet d'étiquetage des lignes de production et des zones de stockage afin d'améliorer la traçabilité et l'efficacité.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les services d'expédition/réception afin d'assurer la fluidité des flux de marchandises entrant et sortant.
- Collaborer avec les services des achats et de l’administration des bases de données afin d'identifier et de résoudre les problèmes en temps réel.
- Contribuer aux initiatives d'amélioration continue des opérations d'entreposage, des normes d'étiquetage et des processus système.
- Respecter les procédures de santé et de sécurité dans les zones d'entreposage et de production.

**Compétences requises**:

- 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en gestion d’inventaire, en opérations d'entreposage ou en soutie
