**Position Overview**
We are seeking a strategic and experienced **National Strategic Account Manager** to lead our national account initiatives and manage a high-performing team of account professionals. This role is responsible for overseeing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring consistent service delivery across Canada.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a team of Strategic Account Managers across multiple regions.
- Develop and execute national account strategies to drive growth, retention, and profitability.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value industrial clients.
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, marketing, and technical services to deliver integrated solutions.
- Monitor account performance, pipeline activity, and team metrics; report regularly to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanding service offerings.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence within the team.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic account management or sales within industrial distribution.
- 3+ years of experience managing people or leading teams.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level clients.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
