**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE**:
The **Proposal Lead** will support the proposal team in the preparation of the proposal perpetration, including proposal write-ups, estimating spreadsheets, site visits, clarification meetings, etc.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Preparation of estimates and technical write-ups
- Determines key requirements for project costs and other estimates
- Analyze requirements and reach out to sub vendors to obtain a quotation
- Use cost-analysis software for planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Reviews vendor offers and quotes from subcontractors and site Manager
- Creates and submits bids and proposals to appropriate persons
- Provides consultations and updates on project needs
- Working in a fast-paced environment with teams from different disciplines including engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors.
- Ability to respond to changes per client requirements
- Follow up with vendors to meet their intended deadlines
- Coordination of data provided by multiple vendors

**KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technologist Diploma
- Solid understanding of the nuclear industry

**SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years professional experience preferred
- Previous experience in the nuclear industry is preferred
- Familiarity with project management principles, data analysis, and estimation formulas
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Estimator / Estimating experience is preferred
- Able to interpret Scope of Work requirements
- Ability to negotiate with clients and vendors to obtain optimum and profitable pricing
- Skilled in building solid professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams
