**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Sales Lead will play a pivotal role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting store operations. As a leader on the sales floor, this role involves actively contributing to strategic initiatives, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring Virtue Vintage's continued growth and success in the sustainable fashion market.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Customer Experience:

- Greet customers warmly and assist in finding pieces that reflect their personal style and with shopping needs.
- Provide knowledgeable and personalized fashion advice while promoting sustainability and intentional consumption.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
- Create an inspiring shopping experience that embodies Virtue Vintage’s mission.

Sales Leadership:

- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and achieving personal and team sales goals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and support market growth.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, positivity, and accountability.

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Store Operations:

- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and bank deposits.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store is clean, organized, and inviting.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and report discrepancies to the Store Manager.
- Oversee loss prevention practices and daily operations.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving store performance.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team, providing ongoing support and feedback.
- Offer regular sales training to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
- Monitor team performance, analyze sales data, and provide updates to senior management.

Market Insight & Feedback:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Share product knowledge with customers and team members.
- Provide feedback to refine sales strategies and enhance the customer experience.

Ecommerce, Social Media & Marketing:

- Contribute to social media efforts, including content creation, product photography, and on-camera promotion.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and in-store events.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Experience**:

- 2+ years of retail or sales experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Experience in the vintage or fashion industry and client relationship management is an asset.

**Skills**:

- Strong sales and customer service abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in social media and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of using basic computer programs.
