**About Potash**

BHP’s Jansen Potash Project located approximately 140 km east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is BHP’s first and most advanced potash project. Jansen will add diversity and a Canadian presence to BHP’s global portfolio. Jansen’s large resource endowment provides the opportunity to develop it in stages, with anticipated initial capacity of 4.35 Mtpa. The BHP Board has recently sanctioned Jansen Project (Stage 1), with a US $5.7 billion investment. The project is now entering the construction phase, with the first potash expected in 2027.

**Purpose**:
Reporting to the Head of Engineering and Digital Strategy, Project Engineering, the Principal Asset Integration provides technical expertise for the development of Asset Integration strategy, standards, processes, systems and plans for a project/program of major capital projects.

**About the Role**:
In this role, you will:

- Coordinate the development of asset management standards, processes, plans and cost models incorporating operating assumptions endorsed by key stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise for the development of the Asset Reliability and Availability Model (RAM), identifying availability improvements for the project
- Provide asset integration and asset modelling expertise as input to value improvement practices
- Execute risk and quality management plans to ensure the effective management the project’s asset integration scope of work
- Strive to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste

**Work Location**:
This role can be based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan or Mississauga, Ontario. 40 hours per week.

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Reliability, Electrical, or Process)
- Tradesperson with significant experience will be considered
- Registration as Professional Engineer considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience in mining, milling, power, oil & gas, or construction projects (Operational Readiness, Commissioning, or Engineering)
- Knowledge of Reliability and Availability Modelling and Life Cycle analysis techniques
- Working knowledge of RCA and FMECA techniques
- Aptitude for developing asset management plans
- Familiarity with asset master data creation and management
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to deal with an array of stakeholders at various levels within the business
