**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise the production team to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain food safety protocols throughout the production process.
- Oversee the fabrication, packaging, and sanitation of food products to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Train new employees on production processes, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory management and quality control checks.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.

**Work Environment & Requirements**
- Fast-paced food/beverage production facility with frequent standing, walking, lifting and sitting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts based on production needs.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a leadership role within the food industry or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, food safety regulations and best practices.
- Some experience with food batching, ingredient handling, and CIP.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, QA/QC, and other food safety standards
- Basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Eagerness to learn and a humble, team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
