Stockdales boasts one of the largest motor and controls inventory in Western Canada

We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our shipping and receiving team

**What you will be doing**:
The shipper and receiver is a key position with the company and is accountable to perform the following duties to be executed timely and safely as required by the rest of the operation. These duties include:

- Pick, package and ship inventory items and manufactured products
- Unloading of incoming freight
- Process incoming shipments
- Unpack and verify that the received product and quantities match the packing slip and purchase order
- Notify supervisor of any damaged, shortages and errors with shipments
- Process and ship orders to outside customers
- Inter-branch transfers
- Ensuring that the shipping and receiving area is organized and maintained
- Use of computer system to print shipping documents and inventory labels
- Participating in year-end inventory including preparing the shipping & receiving area and store front for the physical count

**What we need from you**:

- Experience with a computerized inventory system will be a definite asset
- Work experience with hand and power tools will be a definite asset
- Detail oriented and very organized
- Work well in a fast paced environment
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work effectively alone and collaborate as a team
- Must be physically fit and able to maneuver equipment
- First Aid Ticket, an asset
