Shipper/Receiver

We are currently seeking full time Shipper Receiver Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

MVS supports their customers with a variety of rental equipment such as laser levels, test-ball plugs, GPS, shoring systems for trenching and steel road plating, along with construction and surveying equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

- Accuracy with numbers, high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbal and written
- Solid organizational skills, able to multi-task and prioritize
- Self-motivated, strong problem solving abilities, continuous improvement and proven decision making skills
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must hold a valid driver’s license

**Duties**:

- Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips and rental orders, report damages or discrepancies, and label inventory
- Accurately pick outgoing orders and pack appropriately for shipping as well as customers
- Determine the best method of shipment for outgoing goods to maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
- Prepare shipping documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, waybills.
- Operate forklift to load/unload shipments and move inventory
- Maintain accurate account of inventory within warehouse and storage locations
- Schedule and coordinate with both inbound and outbound carriers and couriers
- Takes direction well. Can work well unsupervised. Has the ability to be creative and self driven.
