**CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST**

**Responsible fore receiving supplier orders, assisting customers (retailers) in placing their orders and for processing and shipping those order to our customers in a timely manner.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Create positive and lasting relationships with our customers
- Continually learn and increase product knowledge and assist customers in growing their product knowledge and business with us
- Participate in development and updating of policy and procedure manual with assistance from the team and guidance from the Operations Manager.
- Enter orders from website order portal into Quickbooks, assist with receiving supplier orders and process customer orders
- Interface with shipping companies to book shipments, track them and manage shipping issues as needed
- Assist customers in placing orders online where possible and encourage them to add new product lines to their orders
- Enter new products into website and Quickbooks as needed
- Keep warehouse and offices organized and clean with the team
- Take on other duties as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong English communication and listening skills; customer-focused; self-motivated; thrives in a team environment
- Organized and efficient; a confident multi-tasker
- Computer savvy - familiar with Microsoft 365 and able to use excel and word
- Able to work using Quickbook online and website dashboard and order system; training provided
- Able to lift boxes up to 40 lbs as needed; physically able to climb stairs and reach for products on shelves safely
- Knowledge of the quilting/sewing industry and/or craft is an asset
- Business education is an asset
- Bilingual in French/English is an asset
- Interest in future business ownership will be considered but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
