The Role

Position: Accounting Clerk (Temporary)

Bi-Weekly Salary: $1,974.45 - $2,351.24

Division: Finance

Manager: Tosin Olajide

Location: Regina, SK

The Accounting Clerk supports all ISM customers, Senior Accounting Clerk, the ISM Finance and Contract teams with invoicing, journal voucher processing, contract registration and other financial deliverables.

NOTE: this is a temporary term position, not to exceed 18 months.

**Responsibilities**:
- Supporting in all areas related to invoicing, journal voucher processing and contract registration.- Provide welcoming, timely and accurate support to all of ISM and their customers.- Enter various accounting transactions into the financial system.- Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

Qualifications:
- Grade 12.- Completion of accounting courses equivalent to the second level of the CMA Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.- Two years related experience.- Satisfactory job performance.

Key Skills & Abilities:
- Experience using information systems considered an asset- Two years related experience with data entry and reconciliations considered an asset- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.- Ability to work under pressure.- Ability to prepare complete and accurate accounting reports and statements of considerable complexity.- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with other employees and the public.- Ability to communicate clearly, both oral and written.
