**The Opportunity**:
**As an integral role of the Finance and Accounting department at Capital Auto Group the **_Accounts Payable Clerk _**will work effectively as part of the finance team with daily reconciling, posting, and reporting.**:
**Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk works closely with the team to ensure that invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with corporate policies, and to ensure that both cheques and electronic payments are made in a timely manner. This role is also responsible for the maintenance and administration of electronic copies of supplier files, ensuring account balances are always current, matching invoices to corresponding payment documentation and reconciling statements in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.**:
**_ _**The Qualifications**:

- ** High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience or Accounting/Business certificate, or diploma, in Accounting or Business with a minimum of 1 year working in an accounting environment**:

- ** Excellent administrative, organizational and computer skills. Mid level proficiency in the use of Google G-Suite**:

- ** Experience working with accounting software and technologies; CDK, Quorum, and Tekion experience would be an asset**:

- ** Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles.**:

- ** Ability to pay close attention to detail in high volume work situations.**:

- ** Ability to deal with changing priorities and multi-task**:

- ** Reliable, enthusiasm and ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude are essential.**:

- ** Established internal and external customer service skills**:
