- We are seeking a Support Worker to join our compassionate health care team at Affinity Health. In this role, you will provide essential one-on-one support to seniors in a home environment, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being._
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
- Implement individualized support plans, including daily living activities and personal care_
- Provide behaviour support and crisis management in home and community settings_
- Promote independence, inclusion, and meaningful community participation_
- Assist clients with personal goals and self-expression using various communication methods_
- Support clients with feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming as needed_
- Document client observations and daily progress accurately and professionally_
- . Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment_
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure high-quality, person-centered support_
- **Education and Qualification ;**_
- Diploma/Degree in Developmental Services Worker (DSW), Social Service Worker (SSW), or a related field (required)_
- Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with Autism, mental health, behavioural, and/or developmental disabilities is preferred _
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (required)_
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Check _
- . Up-to-date immunizations, TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses minimum) (required)_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- DSW: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
