Element5 is seeking a skilled **CNC Operator **to join our team in St. Thomas, Ontario. This role is essential in our production process, where you will operate CNC machinery to transform raw materials into custom pieces.

**Location**:70 Denis Road, St. Thomas, ON

**Work Schedule**:
**Day Shift, Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM)**

**Afternoon Shift, Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and set up CNC Router machines with accuracy.
- Create tool paths for CNC Router.
- Interpret shop drawings and work orders correctly.
- Select and load appropriate cutting tools; adjust settings as necessary.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure high-quality standards for finished products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet productivity goals.
- Provide support in other production areas as required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum of five years of programming experience with MasterCAM, DDX, or similar software.
- At least five years of experience operating and setting up CNC Router machines, woodshop experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and work orders.
- Forklift certification or willingness to undergo training.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an environment with dust and noise.
