If you are looking for an interesting and challenging career that can be different every day, then this may be the job for you. Duties are many, wide and varied. The position of General Manager reports to an elected, volunteer Management Committee through the Commodore and is responsible for the overall operation of the Dartmouth Yacht Club. Duties include, but are not limited to, managing staff, overseeing the budget, interacting with members, and the safe and efficient operation of the Marina and Boat Yard.
Dartmouth Yacht Club is nestled in Wright’s Cove on the Eastern Shore of Bedford Basin and, by land, located at the base of the Burnside Industrial Park. It is a busy club with over 350 members, a vigorous Junior Sailing program and an active boating and social program.
