**Child Development Assistant - Part time - Evenings and Weekends positions available**

At Over the Rainbow you will have the opportunity to affect the lives of children of all ages with exceptional abilities and their families.

**Who**:
Creative and ambitious Child Development Assistant (CDA) interested in working with children In the child’s home or community setting. The CDA will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the child’s Individual Program.

Current criminal record check (including vulnerable sector check) required

Experience in working with a special need’s population is an asset

Must have reliable transportation.

**What**:
Responsibilities include facilitating goals and objectives on the child’s Individual Program Plans and collaborating with other clinicians on the team.

Promoting the positive inclusion of the child

Creating opportunities for experiential and incidental learning

Developing resources such as social stories, visuals, games or scripts.

Flexibility and ability to collaborate and coordinate services is essential.
