**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Planning & Management**:
Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing labor and equipment utilization. Ensure that production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives are achieved.
- **Team Leadership & Supervision**:
Lead, coach, and develop a diverse production team, including line leads, Critical Control Point (CCP) operators, machine operators, and assemblers. Manage and supervise temporary agency staff, ensuring effective onboarding, training, and performance management. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- **SOP Development & Compliance**:
Establish, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safety, quality, and efficiency. Continuously review and update procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.
- **Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing**:
Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Lead initiatives for process optimization and cost reduction.
- **Quality Assurance & Food Safety**:
Ensure that all products meet company quality standards and comply with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP). Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any non-compliance issues promptly.
- **Equipment & Maintenance Management**:
Oversee the maintenance and performance of all production equipment. Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule regular preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
- **Storage Organization & Cleanliness**:
Ensure efficient storage practices, proper labeling, and inventory rotation. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization across the production floor to meet food safety and audit requirements.
- **Work Environment Management**:
Oversee operations in temperature-controlled environments, ensuring compliance with storage and production protocols to maintain product integrity.
- **Safety & Compliance**:
Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**:
Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a management role within food manufacturing or production, with a focus on process optimization and team leadership.
- **Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including managing line leads and temporary agency staff
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and regulatory compliance
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities
- Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments as needed
