The Human Resources Generalist executes the full range of human resources, recruitment and payroll functions for the organization. The Human Resources department currently supports approximately 350 employees across Canada, the US, the Philippines and India.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct full cycle recruitment activities - posting jobs (internet and print mediums), screening resumes, telephone and in-person interviews, reference checks, offer of employment
- HR reporting and analytics - design and implement a suite of HR reports aimed at driving business performance
- Identify HR technology improvements, take them from business case through to business implementation
- Support the employee experience with focus on onboarding including orientations with new hires
- Process Group Plan and other payroll deductions
- Conduct exit interviews with departing employees, and provide relevant reporting to Sr. Management
- Provide human resources and legislative advice to both managers and employees where applicable
- HR correspondence - prepare offer letters for department managers, general correspondence, confirmations of employment, salary adjustment letters, promotion letters, etc.
- Assist HRM with processing bi-weekly salary payroll for current staff using ADP Workforce Now, for Canada and USA
- Support HRM with monthly HR & Payroll analysis and reports on various metrics - turnover, headcounts, FTE, annual salary budgets, payroll accrual reporting etc.
- Handle and resolve Employee Relation issues
- Update Employee Handbook as needed with current policy and legislation

Knowledge & Skills:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience as a Human Resources Coordinator with a focus on recruitment, performance and legislative compliance
- Must have HRIS experience, preferably using ADP WFN
- Prior working experience in a multi-location environment
- Post-secondary education preferred (CHRP)
- Familiar with applicable provincial legislation required
- Proficiency with Ms Office and MS Outlook
- Team player with initiative, excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Proven commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and able to meet deadlines
