**Position Type**: Full-time salaried
**Our Mission**:Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia brings communities together to help families build strength, stability, and independence through affordable homeownership.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that align with Habitat NS’ goals and objectives.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, social media, and events, to increase brand visibility and drive donor and customer acquisition.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as ReStore, fundraising, events, community engagement and homeowner services, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials.
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and social media engagement, to assess campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and strategic partners to secure media coverage and partnerships.
- Produce engaging and informative content for various platforms, including, press releases, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of internal communications, such as newsletters, memos, and announcements, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company values.
- Manage the marketing budget, track expenses, and provide regular reports on return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience, at least 5 years in marketing and communications.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, including branding, advertising, digital marketing, and market research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and platforms.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret marketing metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications.
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
