At Decor Cabinets, we take pride in crafting quality products through efficient and innovative manufacturing. We’re seeking a **Project Manager** to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance our operations.
This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance and plays a vital role in ensuring key initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
**What You’ll Do**
**1. Lead Projects Across the Full Lifecycle**
- Manage operations and manufacturing improvement projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure compliance with standards and conduct post-project reviews for continuous learning.
**2. Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams**
- Lead meetings and decision-making across departments such as engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
- Act as a communication hub, ensuring alignment and accountability across the organization.
- Engage with technical teams and vendors to maintain quality and execution timelines.
**3. Monitor Progress & Manage Risks**
- Track progress against project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Identify risks and remove roadblocks through proactive management.
- Support operational improvements by driving structure, focus, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
**4. Communicate Results**
- Deliver clear, concise project updates and dashboards to senior leadership.
- Provide visibility into milestones, resourcing needs, and key risks or impacts.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights from completed projects.
**What You Bring**
**1) Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex projects—ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
**2) Technical & Leadership Skills**:
- Solid understanding of PM methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate competing priorities.
- Risk and resource management expertise.
- Strong skills in planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
**3) Knowledge & Mindset**:
- Working knowledge of manufacturing environments, terminology, and process flow.
- A continuous improvement mindset and experience with change management are assets.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
