Channel Account Manager, IT B2B

The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for driving LG's market share within assigned channel partners in Canada. This includes the ongoing account management and business development of partners, with a primary focus on LG’s full line of IT Business Solutions.
As an integral part of the sales organization, the role requires you to work closely with sales teams of both LG Electronics and our partners to identify, develop and assist in closing opportunities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
- Develop and implement collaborative business plans that deliver long term mutual growth
- Proactively lead joint partner planning that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
- Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Provide regular and timely observations of pipeline with corrective actions and reporting.
- Manage forecast accuracy and aligns with Business Management.
- Manage channel and LG inventory levels.
- Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or other relevant discipline
- 5+ years’ sales experience in B2B channel sales with a proven track record of results
- Prior experience in the IT channel in Canada is an asset
- Strong communication, both oral and written
- Proficient in Salesforce
- Able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-Starter
- Quick learner
