This is why having a warehouse team is invaluable to delivering "freshness" to our customers and in turn serving the community. **As a **DISTRIBUTOR**, your responsibilities are to: **Distribution Process** - Ensure accurate and optimal inventory levels at both Greenfield Produce ("GFD") and at its suppliers for business operations. - Identify to management slow moving and obsolete inventory and ensure that action is taken to take care of this issue. - Fulfil and manage the distribution of all store orders in a timely manner. - Ensure proper cost, selling prices, and margins at GFD and proper cost to Kin's Farm Market stores and affiliates from all the vendors of GFD. - All the products must be correctly allocated to the proper store from the right vendor and the right quantities and price with the right labels at the right time. - Track daily/weekly inventory requirements to meet sales targets, ads, store booking, and orders. - Together with the Purchasing Manager, conduct the meetings with Buyers, Operation Team, Warehouse Manager, store managers, and vendors on orders, supply, cost/price forecasts, future trends, operation improvements, and general work improvements; prepare agendas, minutes, and implement action plans for productivity and workflow gains. - Review store orders for peculiarities, bringing forth concerns before finalization of orders. - Perform the confirmation of all the purchase orders. - Coordinate product allocation of special events such as marketing donations, etc. **Reports, Policies, Logistics, and Documentation** - Enforce the GFD policies including: Aged inventory turnover and cash sale policy and regulations. - Work closely with other departments to achieve GFD forecasted performance metrics and prepare the reports and data analysis as requested with pertinence to its performance. - Collect and update market information and prices for/from buyers. - Ensure Market News is accurate and timely updated at all stores. - Follow-up with the wholesaler, vendors on any delivery problems or concerns. - Facilitate the importation of product to GFD by ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner and provided to all related parties including customs, brokers and other government agencies. - Participate in logistics setup, cost negotiation, coordination of on time arrival, and inquiries. **Qualifications**: - Ability to analyze and check the accuracy of invoices and related documents in and out of GFD and its suppliers. - Completion of Secondary Education. - 2 years administrative/customer service experience in a retail distribution environment (preferred). - Work a flexible schedule including weekends. - Well organized with fine attention to detail. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Excellent planning and prioritizing skills. - Able to interact with customers in a friendly and cheerful manner. - Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
