**Job Summary**

We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Specialists to join our floor team at Craft Greenery Cannabis, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions. Part-time roles have the potential to transition to full-time based on demonstrated performance, initiative, and commitment to growth. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers on our products using a scent-forward lens, and contribute to a positive, dynamic store environment that fosters personal and professional development.

**Responsibilities**

**Customer Service and Product Knowledge**
- Greet customers warmly, verify IDs for 19+ compliance, and guide them through our curated selection using the Ganjier protocol and scent language to describe aromas, effects, and pairings for a personalized shopping experience.
- Maintain deep product knowledge by sampling and testing products (supported by staff discounts to encourage exploration) to provide authentic, experience-based recommendations.
- Conduct regular product homework, sharing personal reviews and detailed descriptions with peers to enhance team knowledge and elevate customer interactions.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our community-focused values in the Joyce-Collingwood neighbourhood.

**Store Operations**
- Process transactions accurately using Greenline POS/Cova POS/POS, handle cash and payments, and assist with order pickups or inquiries related to online sales.
- Maintain store cleanliness, restock shelves, and create appealing product displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Assist with inventory counts/audits, receiving new shipments and intake, and tracking product rotations to ensure freshness and variety.
- Perform delivery tasks as needed, ensuring timely and professional service while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

**Industry Engagement and Initiative**
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and new products through independent research, sharing insights with the team to enhance knowledge and service.
- Support the Retail Manager and Assistant Manager in building relationships with BC producers by providing feedback on customer preferences and product performance.
- Contribute to industry initiatives, such as events or collaborations, to advance the cannabis sector and align with Craft Greenery’s mission.
- Take initiative to identify opportunities for improvement in store operations or customer service, contributing ideas to support team and business growth.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience in retail, preferably in cannabis, alcohol, or luxury goods, with familiarity in Greenline POS/Cova POS or similar systems.
- Genuine passion for the cannabis industry, with knowledge of strains, terpenes, and assessment methods like the Ganjier protocol, and a commitment to experiential product knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build authentic connections, with an ability to communicate complex information simply and engagingly.
- Enthusiasm for taking initiative and pursuing personal and professional growth in an opportunity-rich environment.
- Background or interest in holistic healing, marketing, social media, e-commerce, or wellness products is highly valued.
- Willingness to engage in industry initiatives to contribute to Craft Greenery’s reputation and growth.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 19+ with the ability to verify customer IDs accurately and responsibly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for delivery tasks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Eager to take initiative, gain comprehensive business knowle
