The incumbent is responsible for the realization of a technical project in one or more of the following fields: sound, lighting, video or rigging. The person may be required to work and supervise a team on different types of events (show, tour, festival, corporate), at different production levels, (planning, pre-production, production, post-production) locally.

**Your day will look like this**:

- Participate in the assembly and disassembly of technical equipment
- Ensure the equipment’s proper installation and the respect of the plan
- Ensure at all times the safety of the technical installations
- Respect and promote procedures and regulations fixed by Solotech regarding the equipment’s handling and management
- May be required to operate technical equipment and ensure the smooth technical running of the event
- May be required to lead a team through various stages of a project (technicians or supernumeraries)
- Ensure safe work practices are followed by Solotech staff and extras while on the job
- Coordinate the operations and work execution of a department for the duration of an event
- Receive requests for a given project, plan and develop an equipment list based on the project
- Propose solutions to various problems and suggest improvements to the technical execution of the project
- Advise and guide the technicians by relying on his expertise in the development of solutions
- Act as a reference for a client for a given event
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer service
- Perform any other related task assigned by the team leader

**Your profile**:

- Post-secondary education in a relevant audiovisual field
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of various technical equipment
- Knowledge in networking and electricity
- Possess a forklift and/or aerial work platform license and training in working at heights (an asset)
- Proficiency in both official languages (an asset)
- Ability to travel to different sites
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of R2 software
- Ability to modify and draw cad plans using Autocad software (an asset)
- Knowledge of specialized technical software (an asset)
- Be flexible in terms of work schedule
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
- Good management of priorities and respect for deadlines and tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate information in a clear and logical manner
- Ability to anticipate problematic situations and find effective solutions while respecting the company's policies and operational processes
