**Production Coordinator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Serves as liaison between Picture Head’s production staff and the client, including but not limited to studio marketing executives, creative agencies, and various post-production facilities.
- Responsible for contributing to a seamless, timely and accurate finishing process as well as ensuring an overall positive client experience.
- Responsible for coordinating elements of each project while facilitating a clear line of communication with clients, vendors and Picture Head’s production staff to support the teams with all aspects of the finishing process up to the final delivery.
- Gathers, downloads and preps materials from client (i.e., graphics, EDL’s, OMF’s, offlines) and then coordinates with the Producer and Operations & Scheduling teams to reserve bay space and necessary resources.
- Collaborates with the necessary post-production staff, including but not limited to the Post Supervisors, Producers and Talent to troubleshoot any complications that may arise.
- Partners with finishing staff and assists Post Supervisors/Producers with overseeing campaigns to ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner and meets clients’ deadlines.
- Must stay in direct contact with the Post Supervisors/Producers as well as clients to deliver regular project updates, status and outlines detailing the spot/trailer to deliver a product that aligns with their vision.
- Participates in performing quality control on all masters and coordinates the delivery of finished materials to the appropriate end destination.
- Assist production staff in achieving operational objectives by ensuring all broadcasting/theatrical standards are met, as well as client specifications and approvals.
- Manages billing paperwork: opens and closes work orders, ensuring that all hours are entered into billing/tracking software.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills and must be organized, efficient, and accurate under pressure.

**Required Skills**:

- Prior work experience in a post-production facility and/or entertainment company is required.
- Must be familiar with post workflows including online editing, color correction, GFX creation, VFX and audio mixing.
- Excellent communication skills and must be organized, efficient, and accurate under pressure.
- Must be flexible to meet ever-changing needs of clients and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while displaying a high level of professionalism.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Understanding of MPA guidelines and guild restrictions is a plus.
- Experience in theatrical finishing environments a plus.
- Prior experience in quality control checks for broadcast standards (video and audio levels, title safe, time code, etc.) is a plus.

**Qualifications**:
Education:

- High School education or equivalent required.
- BA/BS in applicable field preferred.
