At SENTRY, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing and Support Technician to join our team. This multifaceted role includes responsibilities in manufacturing, client technical support, Azure cloud operations, and asset management. The Manufacturing Support Technician will work closely with internal engineers and technicians in the water and wastewater sectors to ensure the smooth execution of manufacturing processes and troubleshoot technical issues.

Summary

As a Manufacturing Support Technician, you will be integral to our manufacturing team, contributing to sensor equipment assembly, providing technical assistance for installed sensors, and supporting cloud and web functionalities for the SENTRY Dashboard. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic initiatives within a supportive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Tasks
- Assemble sensors and control panel hardware, including:

- Drilling and mounting enclosures
- Wiring electronics
- Configuring and programming systems
- Conducting testing and quality control
- Refurbish returned equipment, including cleaning, assembling, testing, and reconfiguring components

2. Client Technical Service
- Provide comprehensive technical support to clients and SENTRY Client Managers, focusing on hardware and communication troubleshooting
- Maintain system communication using, but not limited to, TCP/IP protocols, Modbus RTU, and 4-20 mA interfaces

3. Azure Cloud Support
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to implement and maintain Azure platform services, supporting both front-end and back-end development for the SENTRY Dashboard

4. Asset Management System Integration
- Integrate and maintain the Asset Management System to ensure seamless functionality

5. Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of new processes and improvements
- Investigate and resolve issues arising during production or operations
- Support cross-training initiatives and process optimization efforts

Qualifications:

- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in workshop assembly, field installations, or similar environments

**Skills**:

- Familiarity with workshop health and safety protocols
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred knowledge of programming languages: C#,.NET, Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (familiarity with Microsoft Teams is a plus)
- Positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a constructive workplace

Education
- Diploma in Engineering Technology or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

Working Conditions
- Work Hours: 8 hours per day
- Physical Effort: Primarily manufacturing-based work
- On-Call: On-call availability may be required as needed

Salary Range: Salary range of $54,000 to $58,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $54,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
