The Production Technician responsibilities will include:

- **Rotating Shift work. 12 hour shifts, two weeks of days followed by two weeks of nights.**

- Operate, monitor, adjust and maintain pharmaceutical processing units and equipment in the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and/or Fermentation products.

- Executing both routine and complex production processes with the highest regard for safety, excellence and quality.

- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting during production, as well as working with the manufacturing team to maximize production efficiency and meet departmental and company goals.

- Work In compliance with GMP, GDP and standard operating procedures, performs production and assembly processes in a laboratory production environment.

- Operates production/filling/packaging equipment.

- Maintains records to comply with regulatory requirements and may assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.

- May help in validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization.

- Work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

- Required to use a respirator.

- Able to lift up to 25kg.

**Qualifications**:
Required:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Desired:

- Post-Secondary Education with a diploma in an applicable area of study.

- Industrial experience in manufacturing.

**Additional Details**

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
