**POSITION : Business Analyst**

**REPORTING TO**: Director of Operations

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop business requirements for internally and externally generated features from business needs provided by product management.
- Collaborate with the product design engineer on user interface and user experience needs.
- Work with the product development team to ensure that the acceptance criteria are met and the software meets project objectives/customer expectations as defined by the product owner.
- Work with the product development team to document system and user interface requirements, data requirements and report formats.
- Work with the product owner as needed to conduct internal product training sessions and generate product summaries/reference materials to introduce client facing departments to new product features and functions.
- Aids product team members with quality assurance, end-user documentation and software development as needed.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external users.
- Follow established documentation and project execution procedures.
- Provide level of support as needed.
- Work with project managers to define scope and business requirements of the project, participate in the planning of relevant phases of projects, identify risks and recommended risk management approach
- Elicit, analyze and document business requirements such that appropriate solutions can be implemented
- Develop functional requirements, use cases and provide wireframes.
- Act as the liaison between the client community and all departments within Technology & Development to ensure client needs are being met.
- Understand the industry Domain and make sure that regulatory requirements are met.
- Ensure adherence to the structure and processes defined with the BA tools (e.g., SRS, Use Case methodology).
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to Product quality

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- A university degree in Medicine (MBBS/ MD) or computer science or business
- Business Analyst Certification is considered an asset
- Prior experience as business analyst for minimum 4 years,
- Prior experience in Health care is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of system development life cycle, technique and tools
- Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a high-performing team environment
- Ability to set and adhere to high quality standards for all deliverables
- Demonstration of a high degree of adaptability to changing technology, ability to solve problems quickly and effectively, strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
- Customer-service focus
- Flexibility to collaborate with both technical and business colleagues.

**Salary**: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Master's Degree (preferred)
