**Manufacturing Project Manager**

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Quoting & Planning**:

- Prepare and review quotes for potential new projects.
- Develop detailed production plans for one-off projects and new production parts, from quote through shipment.
- **Project Execution**:

- Oversee new projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, production planning, engineering, and operations) to align on requirements and execution.
- Monitor progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed.
- **Risk & Issue Management**:

- Identify potential risks or roadblocks early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues to ownership when necessary.
- **Communication & Reporting**:

- Provide project status updates to ownership.
- Supply the Sales Manager with technical and production details regarding quotes and plans (Sales Manager remains customer-facing).
- **Post-Implementation & Handoff**:

- Ensure new projects transition smoothly into ongoing production.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) required.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop-floor operations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to bridge the gap between engineering, production, and leadership.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, project management tools, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
