**Poste de Consultant en Service BD, Gestion des échantillons de laboratoire**

Pour réussir l'adoption et la mise en œuvre des produits BD au sein des établissements de santé, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le spécialiste clinique ainsi qu'avec les autres membres de l'équipe du projet BD.

De plus, le CSB travaille avec les parties prenantes touchées par le changement de produit pour faciliter l'intégration du produit et communique ses commentaires à l'équipe BD, garantissant ainsi une résolution rapide de tout problème.

Dans le contexte de la politique de conduite et de communication des consultants en service BD, les consultants en service BD sont responsables de ce qui suit:

- Offre d'éducation et de formation sur les produits
- Coaching lors de l'adoption du produit
- Éducation, coaching et formation pour les travailleurs de laboratoire, infirmiers ou

autres travailleurs de la santé.
- Renforcer les politiques et procédures institutionnelles spécifiques au site (si nécessaire)
- Fournir une assistance de suivi après la conversion si nécessaire

Ces tâches seront accomplies en utilisant vos connaissances de la pratique clinique fondée sur des données probantes, de la gestion du changement et des principes d'apprentissage des adultes. Vous serez formé et coaché par le Spécialiste Clinique en charge du Projet.
- La disponibilité doit être de quatre à cinq jours par semaine pendant l'engagement.
- Les horaires de travail varient mais ne dépassent pas 12 heures.
- Plage de travail de 05h00 à 23h00
- Permis de conduire valide requis

Il s'agit d'un poste occasionnel et les consultants en service seront engagés sur une base par projet au niveau régional dans la province, mais se rendront éventuellement dans d'autres provinces.

**BD In-Service Consultant Specimen Management Lab Role**

To achieve the successful adoption and implementation of BD products within healthcare facilities you will collaborate most closely with the Clinical Specialist as well as with other BD project team members.

Additionally, the BIC works with stakeholders impacted by the product change to assist with product integration and communicates feedback to the BD Team ensuring swift resolution of any concerns.

Within the context of the BD In-Service Consultant Conduct and Communication Policy, BD In-service Consultants are responsible for:

- Delivering product education and training
- Coaching during product adoption
- Education, coaching and training for Lab, Nursing or other Health Care Workers
- Reinforcing site specific institutional policies and procedures (as required)
- Providing post conversion follow up support if needed

These tasks will be accomplished using your knowledge of evidence informed clinical practice, change management and adult learning principles. You will be trained and coached by the Clinical Specialist in charge of the Project.
- Availability must be four to five days per week during engagement
- Shift times vary but not exceeding 12 hours
- Shift range 0500-2300 hours
- Valid Driver’s License required

This is a casual role and In-Service Consultants will be engaged on a per project basis regionally within the province but potentially travel to other provinces.
