Ukrainian Credit Union Limited (UCU) has a career opportunity for a full-time position as a Communications Specialist with our Marketing Team based out of our head office location in Toronto. This will be an onsite position once our new head office location is ready.

**Function**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead communication efforts across both internal and external audiences, ensuring a common voice and tone across all communications, and play a vital role to align communications with the organization.
- Develop communication plans and campaign workflows to support campaign objectives
- Develop a communications calendar and update the website with new content, ensuring updates consider SEO.
- Contribute to PR initiatives, helping to enhance UCU’s brand presence.
- Collaborate with our graphic designer to create visually appealing marketing materials for various channels.
- Contribute to seeding the accurate brand message integration between all internal and external stakeholders including Regional Sales Teams, PR, agencies, CX etc.
- Competitor communications and positioning analysis, monitor offers in the marketplace
- Development of Social Brand Campaigns
- Develop Briefs that outline Marketing and Communication objectives to initiate new projects
- Performs other related duties as assigned by next level management as, and when, required.

**Qualifications**:

- Superior writing and communication skills.
- Fluency in Ukrainian is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Keen interest in financial markets in Canada.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion or curiosity for financial markets.
- Proficiency in social media management, website content management, and SEO best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Marketing experience within the wealth management or asset management industry is highly desirable.

**Job Specifications**
- This position interacts with credit union members and all branch positions
- A standard office environment is provided
- Travel to various credit union and meeting locations within the province is required.
- Works with confidential and/or sensitive information and must maintain confidentiality at all times.
