THE OPPORTUNITY

Thomson Power systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 40 years. We are currently looking for an Electrical Project Manager to work closely with our operations and field service leaders; reporting directly to the VP/GM.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Defining project plan documents in relation to scope, budget, schedule and risk management.- Monitoring project implementation to ensure best practices in terms of costs, resource efficiency, and risk management.- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating with them and acting as the key contact for the customer.- Managing the project according to agreed requirements, ensuring that all targets are met, and that relevant guidelines are followed.- Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, costs, expenses and cash flow.- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer.

Desired Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Project Management, working as Project Manager for Electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting and distribution, ideally with North America.- Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.- Sound knowledge of both low and medium voltage Switchgear and the market.-
- Management experience in project execution, with strong, well-developed communication, influencing and coaching skills.- A PMP certification and Engineering degree in Electrical field.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
