**Medical Office Nurse Assistant**

**12 month contract (Starting March 1st 2024)**

**Beacon Dermatology, Calgary Alberta**
- Coordinates patient care throughout the clinic.
- Duties include but are not limited to-checking in, answers enquiries by phone and in person in a helpful, respectful and efficient manner.
- Booking referrals and notifiying doctors and patients, scanning patient files into EMR.
- Maintains appointment schedule and manages messages to the nurses.
- Ensures patient confidentiality.
- Rooms patients, takes history, performs initial charting, stocks examination rooms and performs instrument sterilization.
- Assists nurses and physicians with admin work, calling patients, filling out forms, maintaining biopsy records.
- Performs all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- MOA: 1 year (required)
- Administrative: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-03-01
