**Job Summary**
As a project manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing the delivery of the Inovatec product suite for our clients. Following our structured methodology and delivery approach, you will drive concurrent initiatives according to documented scope, time, and budget, while keeping a proactive eye on quality and customer satisfaction.
You will play a key role in managing, tracking, and enabling forward momentum in projects while communicating progress to internal stakeholders and clients. To us, successful project delivery means driving our client’s needs end-to-end within time/scope/budget, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely resolution of blockers while gaining alignment and setting and managing expectations internally and externally.
Your role as a project manager will give you the opportunity to be part of the North American lending industry, to work in a fast-paced environment, and to experience working with cross-functional teams across the world.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to plan and manage system implementations, deployments, and upgrades.
- Run internal and client project kickoff meetings.
- Set up and manage projects in Jira and Smartsheet.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules.
- Manage progress/status updates internally and externally.
- Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and track actions and decisions.
- Develop get-back-to-green plans for projects as required.
- Manage project finances through revenue forecasting and billing reporting.
- Manage team time tracking through reporting and team management.
- Report and escalate issues in a timely manner to the PMO Manager or Leadership Team when necessary.
- Proactively manage scope to avoid scope creep.
- Proactively manage scope, time, or budget risks through team collaboration and effective client engagement.
- Create and manage project charters, SOWs, and other documentation as required.
- Follow the Inovatec Project Management Methodology and utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
- Prepare for and run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other customer review meetings.
- Work with the PMO to continuously improve our methodology, processes, and practices.
- Run retrospectives with internal teams and with clients to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
**Technical Skills Required**
- Postsecondary education in business management, software engineering or related experience
- 5 years of experience in managing concurrent software development life cycle (SDLC) projects in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge and experience managing projects in Jira, Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite are critical
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Project Management Certificates are considered an asset (PMP, PRINCE II or similar)
- Ability to manage up and across
