About this role
We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Construction group in Burnaby.

Our team specializes in delivering medium- to large-scale commercial, institutional, and residential mixed-use projects, including high-profile projects that define communities. Your responsibilities
- Work with clients and identify potential business opportunities
- Estimate projects and submit tenders
- Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
- Manage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labour
- Mitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as needed
- Work with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers, to ensure projects remain on track, on budget and meet expectations
- Be present on jobsites when required and review project upon completion to discuss success and challenges
- Review the project at completion with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challenges
Your experience and skills
- Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate
- 3 years' experience in Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating
- Previous experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order) an asset
- Good computer skills including MS Office, Procore, AutoCAD, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Strong communication and team working skills

Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
