**JOB DESCRIPTION.**

We are looking for a top-quality and keen full-time Skilled Carpenter to join our company for an exciting outlook on steady and busy projects through 2025 and beyond.

As a Foreman/Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for coordinating installation, repairs, and/or restoration of the woodwork and related materials in conjunction with a set scope of work. You requested to supervise other trades during construction projects. Steel stud and drywall experience is desirable.

**Duties and Responsibility**
- Work effectively with our Project Management team and site leads to facilitate job specifications
- Produce high quality, efficient work according to the planned scope, provide direction to laborers and carpenters, assist in the coordination of daily activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, programs, policies, procedures, and safety precautions.
- Promote the health and safety of all site staff, ensure appropriate safety equipment is worn and used, and equipment and worksite area is safe and clean
- Ensure the highest quality workmanship and efficient work procedures, recommend, and implement continuous improvements
- Review project specifications and drawings and notify the PM of any defects, mistakes, errors, contamination, or variations identified
- Operate and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of hand and power tools

**Requirements**:

- Legally eligible to work in Canada; must have a valid work permit.
- Minimum 3 years experience in commercial renovation construction from frame to finish
- Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- Level 1 First Aid (or better) preferred
- Solid understanding of construction trades and construction techniques
- Experience and working knowledge to interpret drawings, specifications, and relevant project information
- Detail-oriented, tidy, presentable, and honest

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40/hr. + 12% Vacation Pay & Stat Holidays
