Leon Cycle is seeking both an Inbound & Outbound Logistics Specialists to join our team

The Outbound Logistics Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day activities of ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries to customers. They will will work with our ecommerce team, 3PL and dropship partners and carriers to successfully deliver our large array of products to our customers.

The Inbound Logistics Specialist is responsible for the execution of strategic inbound flow plans including all routing of inbound product freight, customs clearance, outbound finished goods deliveries via third party common carrier, third party cross docks, back haul coordination, return of products and intercompany shipments. This position is a support function that works closely with operations team, suppliers, and freight carriers.

Reports to our Head of Supply Chain and inbound logistic will also work closely with our logistics team in China.

**Responsibilities**:
Outbound
- Oversee daily flow of orders from 3PLs and drop ship partners to customers globally
- Build global network of parcel carriers to meet our delivery speed and accuracy goals
- Manage a network of parcel and truckload carriers to ensure timely delivery to customers
- File claims with carriers as needed and in a prompt manner
- Monitor and report on performance and financials of current and proposed logistics initiatives
- Manage carrier capacity, forecasting, budgeting and supplier performance metrics
- Assess current systems, identify risks and implement process improvements
- Continuously drive cost reductions, delivery speed, and customer satisfaction
- Partner with key stakeholders including Sales, Ecommerce, Accounting, and Customer Service teams

Inbound
- Manage the inbound loads and coordinate with production facilities for accurate arrival times
- Managing all daily dispatching duties with logistic service providers for assigned flows (Ocean, Air, or Rail)
- Responsible to manage end-to-end operational performance and improvements; act as operational liaison with external logistics partners and Leon Cycle stakeholders
- Carrier Contract negotiations and compliance
- Monitor Developments and New Technologies in Supply Chain Logistics
- Process set-up and documentation, with focus on continuous process improvement (internally with Leon Cycle, but also towards logistics service providers)
- Resolving customer issues aligned with any service failures that arise
- Coordinate with the Leon Cycle business development teams to ensure capacity based on the forecast
- Contribute to projects optimizing inbound flows and aiming to improve the Logistics/SC network
- Control operations cost and identify/drive cost saving opportunities

Experience and Skills
- 1-2+ years of experience managing parcel and truck transportation across multiple distribution centers and drop shippers within North America
- Demonstrated mastery of high-volume domestic & international parcel carriers
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics or business administration and at least 2 years' experience in related field preferably in a rapid growth start up company
- For Outbound: FTL/LTL experience (creating packing list/commercial documents)
- Experience with Ecommerce platforms
- Strong Excel and Office 365 skills
- Excited by continuous improvement and is process-oriented
- Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of North American transportation law, import & export, customs and other regulations
- Collaborative and willing to work cross-functionally to share ideas and develop solutions to create the best possible customer experience at the lowest cost
- Extremely organized with the ability to effectively manage daily operations and lead several initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, ownership and accountability
