Logistic Specialist

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods.
- Use Excel to track inventory, create reports, and perform data analysis to support warehouse management.
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Lift and move heavy objects, following proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics, resolve discrepancies, and improve operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in multiple areas and perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adaptability in various work environments.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills to effectively handle different roles within the company.
- Understand transportation and industry market conditions throughout North America; seasonal vs. non-seasonal and communicate with the entire team issues that could impact operations.
- Monitoring all inbound and outbound activities for 3PL warehouse
- Understanding of the trucking industry and knowledge of customs bond, customs documentation for trans-border movements.
- Responsible for the timely, accurate and appropriate escalation of issues.
- Work with analysts, managers, and customers to quickly resolve issues in the most efficient manner.
- Verifies and keeps records on all inventory adjustments, both incoming and outgoing.
- Investigates inventory discrepancies.
- Working with a variety of departments to ensure functioning operations.
- Other duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or relevant certifications are a plus).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics role is preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a distribution, transportation and/or logistics environment is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formula creation, and report generation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
