**Key Responsibilities**: - Operate equipment such as loaders, compactors, balers, and other machinery used in waste processing.
- Load garbage and recyclables into trailers safely and efficiently, ensuring maximum load capacity.
- Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure proper functioning and report any issues immediately.
- Monitor waste streams and separate materials as required (e.g., recyclables vs. non-recyclables).
- Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
- Assist in tracking loads, documenting materials moved or processed, and completing relevant paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, and truck drivers to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

**Required Qualifications**: - Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in garbage or waste management operations.
- Proven experience loading waste into trailers.
- Experience operating heavy machinery (e.g., skid steers, forklifts, compactors).
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor and indoor environments, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required).
- Forklift or equipment operator certification.
