Mint Tiny House Company are hiring for the position of a Drafting technician.

At Mint Tiny House Company we manufacture Tiny house RV's and Park Models at our facility in Tilbury industrial estate Delta BC.

**Duties of this role include but are not limited to**:

- Generate detailed building plan sets for our production team based from layouts and designs created by our sales team. This includes framing plans, electrical, plumbing, detailed interior and exterior plans etc.
- Generate materials lists for all projects and co-ordinate with our purchasing team.
- Generate cabinetry manufacturing plans for CNC.
- Work along side our production team carrying out daily inspections on builds to ensure that the plans are being followed and understood correctly.
- Generate plan sets for custom components such as custom cabinetry on builds and work with our production team to introduce improved designs an improve efficiency.
- Generate material lists based on the plans for our purchasing team.
- Work along side our sales team to create layouts and new designs for new customers and new product releases.
- Follow codes set out by CSA, RVIA (RV certification) and ANSI to ensure that we are compliant with code and adapting to any updates required.
**Skills / qualifications.**
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD. Minimum 5 years experience.
- Must be able to adapt to different programmes. Our primary drafting programme is Chief Architect.
- Minimum 5 years experience in creating structural plans.
- Must be very detail oriented, this position involves some very detailed work.
- Must be able to adapt to different programmes. Our primary drafting programme is Chief Architect.
- Must have good social skills, communication with our team is key.
- Must be able to work well under own initiative.
- A good overall knowledge of construction is essential.
- Experience using Mozaik or a similar CNC related programme would be a bonus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $52,000.00-$72,800.00 per year
