We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various food items in our kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our restaurant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the chef or manager
- Adhere to all sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working in a kitchen environment. You should also possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with food service industry standards and practices
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
