Queen West Animal Hospital is a busy clinic located in downtown Toronto. We are looking for an experienced veterinary assistant to join our friendly and hard working team on a full time basis.

**Responsibilities include**:

- General patient care for hospitalized pets including updating cage cards, making sure pets are clean, comfortable, and fed at appropriate times, ensuring their personal belongings are accounted for, dogs are taken out for bathroom breaks at appropriate times.
- Assist DVMs and RVTs in animal restraint.
- Assisting DVMs with appointments.
- Maintaining clean cages that are occupied or recently occupied.
- Ensuring the treatment room is cleaned throughout the day and as part of closing duties.
- Ensuring examination rooms are cleaned and stocked throughout the day.
- Accepting, receiving, and stocking inventory products.
- Other duties as needed.

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)
